Description: is looking for proven, talented, energetic, quota-carrying sales performers to help us grow our North America Enterprise Platform-as-a-Service. The Platform Account Executive (PAE) role focuses exclusively on the custom application development platform including, Heroku, and Thunder, which is our groundbreaking solution for IOT and Big Data. The PAE will formulate and execute a sales strategy within an assigned region, drive revenue growth by penetrating the current customer base, and develop new customers in the enterprise space.

This is accomplished by participating and leading client meetings or engaging other corporate resources as required, as well as participating in regional forecast calls and account planning sessions. Accurately forecasting sales activity and revenue while creating satisfied and referenceable customers are key responsibilities within the Enterprise AE Platform position.


- To refine sales messaging, prospecting, qualifying, and closing techniques
- To develop and execute successful Platform sales campaigns
- To personally create new leads from prospecting efforts and assist others
- To thoroughly qualify leads & sales opportunities
- To leverage business from new & established relationships
- To strategize, negotiate & close business
- To exceed an annual sales quota
- Work with the industry's best product marketing team to define the Platform-Custom Cloud go-to-market strategy.
- Evangelize the Internet's radical transformation of the custom applications market.
- Work with product management to distill key functionality and benefits into core product marketing messages.

Required Skills:
- Must have sold into a platform development environment
-Minimum 8 years of experience with selling software technology solutions
- A proven track record of driving and closing enterprise deals
- Consistent overachievement of quota and revenue goals

- Extensive background in technology and platform solutions
- Demonstrated ability to sell large scale and complex systems to key accounts
- Consistent overachievement of goals
- Good written, verbal, and presentation skills
- Be creative with strong problem solving skills and the ability to succeed in a fast paced environment
- CRM background
- Proven ability to work well as part of an extended sales team Strategic account planning and execution skills
- Ability to sell C-Level and across both IT and business units

- Ability to sell both an application and deployment of a platform
- Strong time management skills
- Proven consultative sales solution skills, including the ability to articulate a clear, concise return on investment value statement
- Ability to maintain a high level of productivity, manage multiple competing priorities, and work effectively under the pressure of time constraints in a fast-paced, complex, collaborative, and team-oriented environment
- Bachelor's Degree
