SUMMARY:
Salesforce is looking for a talented, proven leader and team player with great energy and initiative to fill a strategic and highly visible leadership role in Alliances and Channels - Manager, Financial Services (FS) Alliance Strategy. This role is a critical leadership role as partners/alliances are essential to support our Financial Services growth objectives.

In this role, you will collaborate with System Integrators (Sis) and Application Innovation Partners (AIPs), the Salesforce Financial Services Industry Team, Sales Leadership, Marketing and other Alliances and Channel teams. The individual will work closely with the leaders of the Salesforce Banking, Insurance, Wealth Management and Capital Markets to drive industry alignment, solution development, field and partner enablement, top account penetration, and solution pipeline acceleration with both SIs sand AIPs. Emphasis will be on promoting the involvement and success of the Salesforce Financial Services Cloud via partner packaged solutions and joint go-to-market initiatives.

The role will report up to the Senior Director, Financial Services Alliances

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

First 30 days
  • Align with Partner and Financial Services Leadership to take on responsibility for key SI relationships including revenue and growth targets
  • For assigned SIs, learn what FS partner solutions are available today and where there are opportunities for additional solutions
  • Build partner Financial Services business plan, including marketing campaigns, solution performance dashboard, leadership heat maps, field and partner enablement plan and top account activity
  • Learn Salesforce's Financial Services industry messaging and key sales plays
  • Understand Partner landscape for Financial Services
  • Initial meetings with assigned partners

60-90 Days
  • Establish Cadence calls with assigned partners and key internal stakeholders
  • Develop launch roadmap for partner solutions
  • Working with the Financial Services team and Marketing to execute partner marketing and demand generation campaigns
  • Manage standard reports/dashboards for Industry and Alliance leadership
  • Learn Salesforce's Banking, Insurance and Wealth Management sales playbook
  • Facilitate partner engagement with Financial Service Cloud initiatives

In addition:
  • On-going GTM plan development and refinement
  • Awareness of top Financial Services deals and partners role
  • Expansion of relationships into additional strategic AIPs and SIs
  • Develop detailed solution launch plans for new solutions
  • Support partner activities and representation across events (3rd Party Financial Services, Salesforce conferences and Partner led events)
  • Evangelize Alliance Financial Services strategy across multiple internal organizations including sales, marketing, services, and product marketing/management organizations


PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE/SKILLS REQUIRED:

The successful candidate will have a proven track record in Financial Services alliances - Banking, Wealth Management and Insurance ideally in a high-growth technology or consulting firm. The individual must exhibit leadership qualities that inspire teaming and trust to influence multiple LOBs to support Alliances/Partnering Strategies and GTM initiatives.
  • Extensive + progressive experience in cloud software Sales, Alliances, or Consulting
  • History of developing and executing partner Go-to-market plans with complex partnership
  • Successful execution of solution or campaign launches to global sales organization.
  • C-suite relationship engagement and management experience
  • History of successfully developing and leading multiple strategic partnerships
  • Creativity and strong problem solving skills and the ability to succeed in a fast paced environment
  • Track record of exceeding metrics
  • Management experience
  • Experience or knowledge of Financial Services (Banking, Insurance and Wealth Management)
  • Excellent spoken and written communication, interpersonal, relationship building skills
  • Ability to work both independently and with a team
  • Sound business acumen skills; thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment
  • Bachelors degree or equivalent required


EXPERIENCE/SKILLS DESIRED:
  • CRM/platform and SAAS knowledge a plus
  • Secondary/Advanced Degree
