Cisco's Data Center Tetration team seeks a Regional Sales Manager with a strong background in executive-level communication, customer and partner relationships, and territory planning and segmentation. The ideal candidate possesses strategic technical knowledge, and can succeed as a leader and mentor in a demanding and rewarding sales environment. What You'll do:
As a Regional Sales Manager in our Tetration group, you'll be responsible for directly impacting the overall sales team goal by serving as a trusted advisor and technical authority. This role covers a range of verticals, several of which are narrowly focused for strategic accounts. We're looking for a confident leader that is eager to help define strategic and competitive strategies and go to market plans.

You will:
  • Position and promote the partner value proposition, leading account managers in the development and expansion of opportunities, and reinforcing existing relationships..
  • Responsible for annual booking/revenue quota of $50+M with expectation of significant growth in subsequent years.
  • Develop and execute sales strategy and tactics that improve Cisco opportunity within the customer environment.
  • Along with sales planning, this position is responsible for accurate forecasting.
  • Direct customer contact will comprise a major portion of this assignment.
  • Must have both the sales skills and technical knowledge to make presentations and lead customer discussions to advance the sales process.
  • Extensive regional travel is required. Must be able to lead teams with both direct and indirect reports.
  • Will need to make important resource decisions that apply both corporate and product sales teams resources to new opportunities.
  • Will be responsible for motivating and developing the Product Sales Specialists, Systems Engineers, and Systems Engineering Manager.

Who You'll Work With:
You, as the Regional Manager on the Tetration team, will play a crucial role to the success of Cisco's strategy in the Application Centric Datacenter. You will be responsible for working on Cisco's newest and most groundbreaking entries into the Data Center market segment within Cisco's Financial & Healthcare Enterprise customers. You will play a critical role in enabling Cisco to bring new products to market in both core and adjacent markets. Your team will have fun working together and challenging each other on a daily basis!

Who You Are:
  • BA degree preferred- MBA or graduate degree highly preferred
  • Experience leading a technical sales organization including account managers
  • Proven ability to manage and coach high performing sales teams.
  • 3+ years of successful quota carrying sales experience in the data center market required
  • Understanding of a broad range of Cisco technologies required
  • Overall 10+ years of sales experience required
